The Neids Kitchen
These days, we work on a lot of big projects that take us beyond the kitchen to create cabinetry
for bathrooms, bars, etc. We love those wide-ranging assignments, but it’s also great to get
focused projects like this small kitchen.
The new kitchen in this existing modern home was to be part of an open-concept space, and our
marching orders included creating open floating shelves instead of traditional upper cabinets.
The Neids kitchen features Rehau Terra textured melamine panels in “whiskey oak,” a gray
finish. The client chose a Bluestar range and a KitchenAid refrigerator.
We loved how it all turned out – it’s compact, efficient, stylish and full of character.
Postscript: Another feature we loved in this home is the giant garage door at the front of the
house, leading right into the living room … it’s cool, yes, but it also makes for the easiest
delivery scenario ever!
